I hope you are having a wonderful week! This week my hubby and I are celebrating our anniversary. We are enjoying a great week, looking back at nineteen years of marriage. We often take time to reflect on our relationship and how to keep it going strong.
Relationships are at the heart of movie that we recently had the chance to see. HEALED BY GRACE 2 looks at several levels of relationships and how each have reasons that make them difficult at times. You can watch the movie’s trailer here:
The movie touches on several themes including one that is vital in today’s world — forgiveness. Relationships often get strained when one person hurts the other. In order for the all people to heal and for the relationship to remain strong, forgiveness is needed to move forwarded. HEALED BY GRACE 2 shows us that the one that thing that can cause relationship to became strained is the one that can also heal it. And it all must start with forgiveness.

I hope you are relaxing and enjoying your day. My hubby and I had the opportunity to review the move, Healed By Grace 2 Ten Days of Grace. The movie stars Sean Young, Kennedy Martin, Natalie Weese and David Matthew Weese. I do not want to write a spoiler notes of what the film is about because I really want you to see the movie. The movie centers on a teenager named Jesse who wants a horse for her 15th birthday. Her mother is against it; but she really does not know why. Her father is able to convince her mother to agree to a 10 day summer horse camp. But what happens from there is totally surprising. You will have to see it to get the rest of the story.

The message that comes through is forgiveness. No matter what you have done in your life, God loves you and he forgives you. One scripture that comes to mind is Matthew 18:21-22 (KJV)
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
We have to forgive ourselves first and then to be able to forgive others. Sometimes we get angry and the other person does not even know it and we are only hurting ourselves. God gives us Grace and what a fitting tile for this movie.

The seat belts in Phoenix my Jeep Grand Cherokee were so hot that I felt the heat and it barely touched my skin. It’s summer in the city and it feels like a oven door was left open.

We see how Faith preserved through these trials and overcame the obstacles, one step at a time.

What a beautiful day today in Missouri and a great break from the 95 degree heat.

We have the opportunity to collaborate with LEV3L to screen the film, “Steps of Faith”. My husband and I watched the film together. Please watch the trailer below.

Starring: Charles “Malik” Whitfield, Chrystee Pharris, Ted Lange, Tracey Ross, Gail Cronauer, Kennesiha Thompson and Irma P. Hall.
Faith Houston, an accountant, struggled with her belief that she heard from God to move from Dallas to work on a hippotherapy farm where they use horses with special needs children. Her parents laughed in her face because Faith was not a regular church goer and they thought she was just hearing things. They said how can someone hear from God and they only go to church every now and then? They even compared her to a lady who they raised money for at church to go to a missions trip, so they provided no support for her in walk.
Faith stepped out on her journey despite the naysayers; but she doesn’t know what she is going to encounter.

The second clip below is a real testament if she will give this job a try because it wasn’t what she though it would be.
My Pastor this weekend started a series on, “How to Fulfill God’s Will For Your Life.” It really relates to this film. Most people miss God’s will for their life. And sometimes people or our own intellect can get in the way.
“If you are walking in your calling you are fulfilling your purpose.” In your calling you are fulfilled, satisfied, and happy.
If we don’t know our calling, than we have to discover what it is and not determine what it is because it comes from God.
I think Faith was battling to questions in the movie:
1. Am I really called to do this?
2. Did I make a mistake and miss God?
3. Did God make a mistake?
It was never said that finding our purpose would be easy; but blessings will follow that’s for sure.
This film will have you thinking about your purpose and what God has called you to do.
