I am not complaining, however, it’s been so hot lately, today the temperature was 95. Do you ever feel like you want to getaway; but you can only do a staycation right now? What about enjoying a getaway right at home. Light some candles, take a nice hot bath and add in some bath salts and you have your own spa getaway. And make sure you are focusing on decluttering your mind of negativity, and replace it with gratifying encouraging thoughts. How should I start being stress free? Create and write in a gratitude journal. It will clear your mind and then take some time and treat your body to a relaxing spa experience.

We have the opportunity to collaborate with LEV3L to screen the film, “Steps of Faith”. My husband and I watched the film together. Please watch the trailer below.

Faith Houston, an accountant, struggled with her belief that she heard from God to move from Dallas to work on a hippotherapy farm where they use horses with special needs children. Her parents laughed in her face because Faith was not a regular church goer and they thought she was just hearing things. They said how can someone hear from God and they only go to church every now and then? They even compared her to a lady who they raised money for at church to go to a missions trip, so they provided no support for her in walk.
Faith stepped out on her journey despite the naysayers; but she doesn’t know what she is going to encounter.

My Pastor this weekend started a series on, “How to Fulfill God’s Will For Your Life.” It really relates to this film. Most people miss God’s will for their life. And sometimes people or our own intellect can get in the way.
“If you are walking in your calling you are fulfilling your purpose.” In your calling you are fulfilled, satisfied, and happy.
If we don’t know our calling, than we have to discover what it is and not determine what it is because it comes from God.
I think Faith was battling to questions in the movie:
1. Am I really called to do this?
2. Did I make a mistake and miss God?
3. Did God make a mistake?
It was never said that finding our purpose would be easy; but blessings will follow that’s for sure.
This film will have you thinking about your purpose and what God has called you to do.

Did you know that scrapbooking is very popular and is an awesome way to share your memories with friends and family.
I received a complimentary copy of the latest version of the My Memories scrapbooking software. I will be hosting a giveaway where one person will receive a free copy of the digital scrapbooking software from MyMemories.
I have used Mymemories to create digital scrapbooks so it was great that they offered to collaborate again. As I have said many times before, I have so many pictures that what better way to use them to create a photobook or single page for myself, family or friends. Even if you do not have a lot of computers experience there are Youtube videos to guide you. I wasn’t able to find the latest video with the most current software; but some of the same instructions apply to the new software.
I created a picture of my hubby and I with our godson Zachary. I had a lot of fun adding in photos and wording. The sky is the limit of what you can do. This template design is called Vintage Rose. I really like the contrast of colors with this design. It really gives the breath of fresh air of spring.
Creating a page is quite easy and the designs of creativity are endless.

The software is before to add photos, embellishments, text and layers. I am thinking about creating my own photo album.My God son’s birthday party is Resurrection Week so I have some ideas.

PAUL, APOSTLE OF CHRIST is coming to a theater near you on Friday, March 23rd. Just in time for the Easter Season. The movie examines the life of Paul, portrayed by James Faulkner, who in his latter years holds on to what he believes despite being tortured from all sides. And how Luke, a physician and Paul’s friend, played by Jim Caviezel, wants to recount in his writings how a person can truly be changed and then convey that message to the early church. This is a dangerous time for the new followers of Christ. Paul wonders if the word is getting out and if it is still important what he has to say.

As Christians, we are noted for being quick to judge and condemning if a person is not on high of a pedestal as we think they should be. We have to realize that no one is beyond God’s mercy. “For we all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God.” Romans 3:23 Paul, early in his life, hated Christians. Paul became a dramatically changed man, who is a key figure in fighting for Christianity and ended up writing a majority of the New Testament. Before we cast the first stone, we have to look at ourselves in the mirror. “Why do you see the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye?” Luke 6:41 (ESV)

This is such an important film to see in these days and times. Even while in prison, Paul sang God’s praises and some of his most loving writings came to be during this time.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie with my husband. It is on our must-see list and I believe that it should be on yours as well.
