Surprised by Oxford is based on the award-winning memoir of Dr. Carolyn “Caro” Drake, an intelligent but emotional college student torn by her past. Drake is an American student who arrives at the University of Oxford intending to attain her Ph.D. in Romantic English Literature. Her confusion about the true meaning of life makes her friendship with a charming young man difficult. However, she reluctantly becomes willing to open her heart to vulnerability, faith, and love.
