There is nothing like inches of snow falling and being a part of the peaceful, quietness in the air. My hubby and I have fun like a kid, which is the way it should be. Cold breezes are in the air. If you haven’t already done it, now is the time to bring out the fall and winter clothes and accessories. Boots and sweaters are must-haves. However, the right cardigan can add versatility to your wardrobe. It can be paired with jeans or dress pants. It can be worn to work or worship. It can be casual for an afternoon movie or dressed up for a date night. I recently found a jacquard cardigan from Isaac Mizrahi while searching on QVC. The silhouette looked so fresh and new, and the ombre effect was so figure-flattering. I purchased the cardigan in red. I could try on the cardigan in my own home and see if I like it or not. Well, when I tried it on, I felt so pretty in it. I paired it with a pair of INC jeans that I bought from Macy’s a few years back in the photo above.

I paired my outfit with a pair of Isaac Mizrahi metallic sneakers. It was the perfect finishing piece to the outfit. The shoes add a little bit of sparkle to your outfit and your day. You can be comfortable and casual and still be put together to embrace chicness.

A Day (And Life) of Thanksgiving and Gratitude

Whether family and friends surround you or not, remember that you are never alone; God is with you and for you. You can feel alone, even in a crowd. I know I have had that feeling so many times. If you feel down or a little low, I am sending lots of love and hugs to you on this holiday.

This Thanksgiving day began with rain in the early morning hours. As the sun came up, the rain went away, and the temperature slowly dropped throughout the day. It started in the upper 40s this morning but was in the low 30s by sunset. This is my favorite time of year. Christmas is in the air, and it is time to decorate for the season even though one of our trees is already up.
Dean Graziosi, one of my mentors and life coaches, sent me a quote the other day that I thought I would share in a video because it will make you think.

There’s so much to be thankful for, and don’t forget the little things because they can mean as much as the big things in your life.
