Hello, Elegant Ones!
I pray that you are having a wonderful holiday season. The holidays come and go so quickly that my hubby and I keep the joyous spirit going into the new year. We celebrate Hanukah and Christmas by reading Bible Passages, listening to upbeat music, and reflecting on the many miracles that God has given to us over the past year. We also look ahead to the new year, our goals, and how we plan to achieve them.
For the new year, if your goal is to have more faith-based teaching for the young people in your life, I suggest you look into the new cartoon series, The Garden. “The Garden” is a Christ-centered children’s cartoon series that teaches kids the Gospel in a way that is easy for them to understand. The series features LENNY THE LION and LUCY THE LAMB—two best friends who work inside a magical garden where ANYTHING can grow! Each story revolves around them having to accomplish their goals by learning a Bible story or an original song. “The Garden” will take your kids on these adventures, too! The Garden is created by BUTCH HARTMAN, the creator of the iconic Nickelodeon animated shows: THE FAIRLY ODD-PARENTS, DANNY PHANTOM, TUFF PUPPY, and BUNSEN IS A BEAST!
My hubby and I had a chance to preview a few episodes, including the Christmas one. Being only eleven minutes, The Garden is filled with a message your child or grandchild will easily understand. You can also download a study guide to go along with each episode for a more thorough discussion. The Garden is entertaining and enjoyable but will leave you feeling good that your little one is being taught a positive message. Lenny and Lucy are cute and lovable and your little one will be singing along with them.
