Hello, Elegant Ones!
I pray that your 2024 is off to an amazing start.
The Chosen chronicles the life of Jesus with its interpretation of Biblical stories. Dallas Jenkins, the creator and executive director, and his writing team also add additional stories that connect these stories and provide context for the viewer. You will have to keep your eyes open. You may say,” That’s not in the Bible; I don’t remember that.” These are the stories that Jenkins and his team added and creative interpretation. They may have happened, but we don’t know. This would be a great time to reread your Bible and get better acquainted with the life of Jesus.
Bubblingwitheleganceandgrace.com had the opportunity to screen the first three episodes of the new season of The Chosen before it premiered in theatres today. Intense emotions fill each episode that put us on the edge of our seats as we follow the life of Jesus Christ, His apostles, and other followers. As Season Four unfolds, more people are coming to Jesus and following His teachings. Religious leaders are threatened by Jesus’ growing popularity and team up with the Roman oppressors to put a stop to His work. With many forces coming against Him, Jesus calls on His followers to RISE UP.
The first three episodes debut in theaters today (February 1st) and will run for two weeks. Episodes 4, 5, and 6 premiere on February 15th, while the final two episodes will start on February 29th.

Once the entire season concludes in theatres, The Chosen will debut on streaming and TV platforms, as well as The Chosen TV and mobile apps. ” Last year, we dipped our toes in the water by releasing a few episodes in theaters. The response was so strong, and Season Four is so big, that we knew we and Fathom had to give views the theatrical experience for all eight episodes,” Jenkins said.

The Ten Commandments. But I always remember Ben Hur. I know I have watched more than that, but many have just made me so emotional (and rightly so) so I tend not to watch them again. The Stations of the Cross at Mass have me balling like a baby.
I completely understand. The Passion of Christ had me crying. The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur are movies that I need to go back and watch again.

I loved The 10 Commandments and Ben Hur!! Charleston Heston gave a top notch performance in both of those movies! The movie that touched my heart ❤️ over and over again is The Passion of the Christ!! When I feel down or fighting with my faith, all I have to do is watch this movie! What Jesus did for us, out of love, brings me right back to reality! God Bless everyone 🙏💘
I agree on all accounts. The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur are classics and I remember watching them on Easter Resurrection Sunday. The Passion of Christ I first saw with my hubby and our church at a local theatre. I totally agree out of love Jesus died on the cross for us so we could have eternal life. Hallelujah!
