Hello, Elegant Ones!
I pray you are having a wonderful day!
It’s hard to believe we are in the first week of spring and will soon be celebrating Easter. As we approach Easter, reflecting on what Jesus’ death means to His followers is essential. This year, the next season of THE CHOSEN will help with that.
Under the direction of Dallas Jenkins, Season Five of THE CHOSEN continues to showcase the story of Jesus and His followers, focusing on the most critical week in the history of the world – Holy Week. The people of Israel welcome Jesus into Jerusalem as king while His disciples anticipate His crowning. However, instead of confronting Rome, Jesus turns the tables on the Jewish religious festival. Their power is threatened, and the country’s religious and political leaders will go to any length to ensure this Passover meal is Jesus’ last. In a beautiful cinematic format, The Chosen: Last Supper brings audiences to witness the events of Holy Week in this special three-part theatrical release. For a look at the Official Trailer, check out the video below:
The Chosen is a groundbreaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus (Jonathan Roumie), seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the seven-season series shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings. What is so captivating is that you’re drawn into the scene, looking at the disciples, asking questions, and seeking understanding. For example, we seek knowledge if there’s a verse we don’t understand; we ask God to reveal the meaning to us.
The Chosen: Last Supper is coming to theaters in three parts! Part One (episodes 1-2) will be released on March 28; Part Two (episodes 3-5) will be released on April 4, and Part Three (episodes 6-8) will be released on April 11. Click HERE for ticket information!
