Hello Beautiful People,
It’s been a winter wonderland here in the Midwest, and I enjoy every minute of it. Except for the sleet and ice, thank goodness for my Yaktrax, which has helped my husband and me walk on snow that has now turned into ice. I know we would be slipping and sliding if we did not have those genius contraptions on our shoes.
Speaking of slipping and sliding, do you make New Year’s resolutions? If so, do you stick with it? I find that resolutions do not work for me. Instead, I have to talk through goals, ask the Lord what He wants me to do, and then plan accordingly. One of those goals is reading through the Chronological Bible in a year. Praise God, my husband and I have been reading through the Bible with Tara Leigh Cobble, and 2024 was our fourth year, and we are doing the plan this year as well.
The Bubbling with Elegance and Grace team had the opportunity to review the newly published Jesus Daily Bible (Christian Standard Bible) published by Dwayne Milioni and CSB Bibles by Holman.
There are so many amazing features of the Jesus Daily Bible that you will want to add this one to your library. Its focal point is the 52-week thematic reading plan that shows Jesus throughout the Bible, even in the Old Testament. You may wonder where Jesus is in the Old Testament. This Bible will show you Jesus’s central role from Genesis to Revelation. Each week’s readings also have an in-depth introduction that sets the stage for what you will be studying. The “Who, What, When, Where” layout is easy to understand and provides the proper context for the readings. Additional articles, charts, and infographics are included to expand each week’s theme. The weekly summaries reinforce the key takeaways and applications for life. I found this a bonus when you can apply it personally and use it as your bible study.
The Jesus Daily Bible has a beautiful hardbound cover, and the pages are not flimsy and thin like many Bibles. The ribbon marker keeps your place while reading. The 9.5 font type size is easy to read.
Order your copy of the Jesus Daily Bible today! The great thing about this Bible is that you can start it anytime. It is not dependent on a specific start date.

Many thanks to Lifeway Christian Resources for providing a product sample for
this review. My opinions are 100% my own.
Putting God first is something I need to work on.
I listen to Christian music and worship Him all day. I watch my preaching on YouTube. I’m not perfect, but I’m trying SO hard!!
I start my day with a prayer to Our Creator! Then I watch my favorite teacher/preacher, Rabbi Kirt Schneider of Discovering the Jewish Jesus! I have tried to spread the good news of Jesus to family and friends. Also on Social Media. Unfortunately some are not very receptive. I’m thinking of getting off of Social Media altogether, to have more time to study God’s Word, The Bible!
Thank you for the opportunity!
I fully trust Him and place my cancer journey directly in His hands- this is His plan, and I am just obeying and doing what He tells me to do. It’s God’s timing, I’m just along for the lessons.
I put God first by trying to follow his ways.
I try to take a moment each day to pray and appreciate my blessings. That is how I put God first in my daily life.
I put God first in my daily life by set aside time to read the Bible and meditate on God’s word. Pray daily, and consider praying first thing in the morning or before bed.
I read my Bible and have devotions every morning. I have just started this and it has been amazing learning so much about Jesus. I know that I am so far from perfect yet I am so thankful for His forgiveness, love, grace and mercy!
I pray and give thanks several times a day. And also read from the Bible every day doing my own Bible study. Being a Gen Xer and a former Catholic, no offense to anyone, growing up they Never encouraged us to read it in CCD class. But I getting there. Several Psalms give me peace.
Just knowing that God is out there and that there is so much more to life than what we see!
I pray daily.
When troubles arise in my life or I need help, I pray to him first.
I get up 2 hours before my household and begin EVERY morning with time in my bible and prayer.
I put God first by singing songs of praise and talking about our Lord on my daily walks with my special needs adult son and sharing with my grandchildren my love for Jesus my Savior when they come to visit Nana. This brings me so much joy!
Honestly I do not put God first in my life. To do that would be a radical change that would offset the whole balance of my life. I don’t want to deceive myself otherwise.
I often hear many say to be ready because Jesus is coming soon. And then I read in scripture that our own self righteousness is as filthy rags in God’s eyes.
So if I feel as though I am ready for the rapture, then perhaps I am deceived within my own pride. I am lukewarm and am nowhere at the point of saying I put God first in my life even though that is what I want to believe.
I pray daily and try to read my Bible every night before bed.
I’ve been living in faith relying on Him daily for food, jobs (money) and clothing. we now have a small apt. Praise God.
I’m trying to do better with putting God first.
Every decision I make is based on whether God would approve of it.
I put God first by doing he’s will and not mine …..It says seek him first amen!
By being thankful for my life.
