Have you ever reached a point when you had no desire to move forward? When the storms of life beat down so hard that the only thing you wanted to do was to give up?

Gigi & Nate, the new movie hitting theaters on September 2nd, tells the story of a young man Nate Gibson in a similar situation. A near-fatal illness leaves Nate a quadriplegic and without the desire to live. Moving forward seems near impossible until he meets an unlikely companion. Gigi, a curious, cute, and intelligent Capuchin monkey, is trained to assist Nate with his basic needs, but most importantly, she helps him find what he needs most: hope.

GIGI & NATE is an inspirational film based on a true story. It is important to note this is not a Christian movie with some adult language and adult themes. However, many Christian values are displayed throughout in the movie. It is a story that with hope and encouragment from his friends and family and especially Gigi, Nate can overcome any obstacle in front of him. With faith and perservence, Nate can turn his situation around. This movie will have you crying with Nate, but also cheering him on as he goes through his life.
