I hope you had an awesome weekend!
My hubby and I finished painting and organizing our office. There always seems to be a project or two that needs to be done around the house, so having that extra hour was much needed.
We noticed that the Christmas-movie season is in full swing. Whether it is the classics that we have seen every year or the new releases in theaters, there is something about a Christmas movie that can warm your heart on a cold winter day. One of those movies that you want to see this holiday season is CHRISTMAS JARS.
In CHRISTMAS JARS, we are introduced to Hope, an aspiring newspaper journalist. After a series of heartbreaking events, Hope has to decide if she will sacrifice her personal convictions in order to get that big break that she has been wanting.
Based on the book by Jason F. Wright and produced by Brigham Young University, CHRISTMAS JARS will renew your faith that there are still good people out there who are doing good things for others. My hubby and I had an opportunity to see the movie a few weeks ago. We enjoyed the movie and believe that the message is one that will resonate with many people. Summer is definitely in the air and last night was fireworks outside until 1:00 am. The humidity is thick and it’s been raining almost every day with periodic sun. For the first time this summer our Hibiscus trees are starting to bloom and it’s so beautiful. Hello Wonderful People,
I pray that you are having an awesome and wonderful today.
Have you ever noticed that the weekends do not seem to be peaceful or restful anymore? Life can get so busy during the week that you have to push so many household tasks and duties to the weekend. Then you send all of your time on the weekend trying to catch up and get everything done that there is no time to relax, to do anything fun, or spend quality time with your spouse. Well, you are not alone. I often believe that the only way that I can make time for the important things in my life is to put on my calendar and plan for it.
Many times we can also get like this with our spiritual life. We have so many things during the day or over the weekend, that we forget to make time for God. I believe that a strong foundation in God and His word will help us through any situation that comes against us. However, that strong foundation does not just happen. It comes from reading and studying God’s word, taking time to learn it and to apply it to our daily walk, and teaching others what we have learned.
If you are struggling to keep on track with a daily reading plan, it would be a good idea to add it to your daily planner or on your to-do list.
