Hello My Wonderful People!
Each Christmas season, I look forward to spending time with my hubby. We usually take time off a few extra days from work between Christmas and New Years to extend the holiday for more than one day. One of the things that we like to do while we are off is make homemade treats. We have made all sorts of cookies and cakes. Not to mention, peppermint bark, peanut brittle and nut clusters. For us, it’s not just the indulging in goodies, but also the time spent making the treats. We enjoy gathering in the kitchen, listening to Christmas music, and talking about all sorts of things. The holidays are in full swing. Last week, my hubby and I celebrated Thanksgiving with a quiet relaxing day at home with our two puppies. We spent the rest of the weekend decorating Christmas tree and turning our house into a holiday oasis. We know the true meaning of Christmas and want to celebrate it as long as possible. Hello Beautiful People,
It just snowed in my neck of the woods and Thanksgiving is next week. Watching the snow fall makes me feel like decorating and putting my trees up so that my hubby and can enjoy the Christmas decorations even longer. One of my DIY projects on my list is creating a pine cone holiday wreath, the cones are from a pine tree I remember my father, mother and I planting in the front yard when I was a little kid. I am so in the mood for decorating for fall. The coolness in the air, a warm cup of cinnamon tea or wearing my warm and chic cardigans just puts me right there in the season. It’s been so hot lately that it was a wonder if fall was really in the air. Well this evening felt cool and the leaves were falling.
