Hello Lovely People,
The weather is cool, and the leaves are finally changing in beautiful shades of yellow, orange, and red in my neck of the woods. I know we are thinking about Thanksgiving, but I wanted to talk about ways to remember what you are thankful for. I have been keeping a journal since I was in my early twenties. I decided to create a second journal of what I am grateful for. When you write down what you are thankful for, you can use it as a boost of energy when you need it or a pick-me-up when you are feeling not as strong. What you write down doesn’t have to be anything monumental. You could have found a parking space up close, had an excellent idea for a birthday gift, got the best seat in the restaurant, or finding some good deals at the mall. When I go back and read what I am thankful for, It gives me good vibe vibrations.
What are you grateful for? Think about it. We get so caught up in the day-to-day that we need to stop and look at the here and now.

Good Afternoon, Wonderful People
Today, we are celebrating the Memorial Day holiday. Some see it as the first unofficial day of the summer season and a reason for a vacation with the family. Others see it as a reason to fire up the grill and feast on some BBQ with some friends. For others, it may be just a day off for an extra-long weekend. Whatever it means to you, we cannot forget the real reason for the holiday itself. Today, we remember the men and women who paid the ultimate price for our freedom in this country. Not only did they fight in a foreign war or serve in the armed forces, but ultimately lost their life. We can never forget about what we have because of what they gave. I say it, and every day, THANK YOU!
Their sacrifice reminds me of what Jesus Christ did for us. He came down from Heaven to serve the people. He taught them. He healed them. He encouraged them. But it was His ultimate sacrifice of death on the cross that gave me (and you) the ultimate freedom – everlasting life and closeness with God.
These stories and promises of what God gave to me through Jesus Christ can be found throughout the Bible. It seems like everything is going so fast now, and what better way to get off the spinning wheel is to enter Katherine’s Corner giveaway that I’m co-hosting with a great group.
