Hi Lovely Readers,

I really feel drained and like I have been burning the candle at both ends these days. Have you ever said that?

Have you ever felt your dreams will never come true? That your family members think your dreams are crazy? I think that all of us have felt like that one time or another, even when we feel successful. Life is a constant tug of war because you have to start over again when you let go of the rope. What do you do when you hit rock bottom, and it seems like no one is there to pull you out of the well? You pray and ask God for help In Jesus Name. If this resonates with you, then Believe It: How to Go from Undestimated to Unstoppable by Jamie Kern Lima, founder of IT Cosmetics, is the book for you.

As part of Brendon Burchard’s Growthday.com, my husband received this book as a gift in the mail. I had already purchased the audible version, so this was a pleasant surprise. Thank you, Brendon!
If you’ve ever doubted yourself or felt truly underestimated, this book will inspire a new kind of belief and confidence in you and your dreams!”
I have felt that self-doubt, self-hate, feeling older than dirt when standing next to a younger person, barren, no value, and what am I here on earth for. I could relate to this book in a few different ways. I’ve found that if you don’t love yourself, then there is no way you can truly love someone else. It takes time to let go of all that baggage.

“In Believe It, Jamie Kern Lima, founder of IT Cosmetics, shares the wild but true story of how a once struggling waitress turned her against-the-grain idea into an international best-selling sensation, eventually selling the company for more than a billion dollars and becoming the first female CEO of a brand in L’Oréal’s 100+ year history. Faced with self-doubt, body-doubt, God-doubt, down to her last few dollars and told, “No one is going to buy makeup from someone who has your body,” Jamie reveals for the first time what really went down, how she almost didn’t make it, how she learned to trust herself. The powerful lessons you, too, can use to go from underestimated to unstoppable.”

There were so many times she could have said no. However, she persevered and kept going until she achieved her dream.

I don’t want to give spoiler alerts, but one tip she gave was creating an imaginary toolbox filled with quotes and prayers that deeply impact you that you can pull from to solve problems. I do this with my gratitude journal. It is not about giving a run-through of the day but writing down what I felt good about and wanted to go back when I need to see it most. Prayer and mediation are other ways that will change your life if you are consistent.

If you don’t know who Jamie Kern Lima is, please read this post in Success Magazine. And this is a great interview that Jamie had with Chase Jarvis below.

I purchased the audio version of Believe It on Amazon. I know you will get many nuggets of wisdom that you can take with you in your life.
