I am loving the weekly mini series on what I love for fall and winter. What is genius is that these pieces of clothing that I am wearing that are “on trend now.” I have had for more than two years so it’s so good to buy pieces of clothing that can be workhorses in your wardrobe and can be worn for more than one season. One fall must have is a dress with bold prints.

JT’s Fall Must Haves

This weekend was simply beautiful, so bright, sunny and cool. My favorite time of the year is fall and winter. I spent a lot of time outside and it’s been so nice.

Print Dress: Chadwick’s, Purse: Dooney and Bourke, Boot Shoes: Vince Camuto

I bought this dress and number two must have the faux leather jacket about three years ago; but bright bold reds and grays are so hot right now. Pairing it with number three the gray tights and the Vince Camuto boot shootie is oh-so-chic. My sunglasses are a vintage Jackie O inspiration.

These Vince Camuto shoes not only have an edge to them and the leather is so comfortable. I walked in them for hours and they were comfortable. The comfort level is that the shoe bootie is has a wedge heel. Wedge heels give more comfort. These shoes are so pretty it was love at first sight when I saw them. The gray tights off sets the whole outfit.

One of my favorite jewelry pieces is cameos. Something about cameos is so vintage and retro.

  I know we do look almost like twins, great minds think alike. The rest of the week here in the Show Me State is going to be in the 70s and 80s so not quite there yet with the cooler weather.

I am loving this outfit. i am thinking warmer footwear or boots the same color as your bag might enliven it a bit more. The grey tights and black bag are a little drab with such a lively print.

  Thanks for the style tips. The dress is really bold and has life all by itself so I usually will try to either pick out a hue in the dress to accentuate the outfit. I have worn this dress with brighter shoes (need to buy more brighter shoes) I just wanted to see how my new boots would look edgy with the dress. I usually do not coordinate my shoes with my handbag because I guess I am a little different.
  
  I get so many compliments on this dress even when I wear flats (black flats). It’s a work horse in my wardrobe.

Hey JT! I love the bold colourful print on this dress and the way you’ve toughened it up with the leather jacket and fierce wedges. Your hair looks wonderful! Have you put a red tint in it?

Oh, I love the shoes! I know that I often wear wedges in the classroom, wear I’m on my feet for hours…but I don’t own anything nice and edgy like these. Is the dress a wrap style?

  Thank you Terri! I bought those shoes from HSN.com and they are really comfortable. The dress actually buttons down the front and it has the nerve to have pockets. I will style the dress a different way to show how it’s put together.
