3. What is your process for taking pictures?
No process, just fun!
Outside
If the weather is nice and sunny I love taking my pictures outside. My hubby gets the camera and tripod and we go outside and scope out different spots that work best with the outfit and how the light effects the picture. Once I get situated on a certain pose, five or six shots may be taken. Additional poses are determined and then more shots are taken.
Inside
If it’s really cold or raining my hubby takes my pictures inside. I have favorite rooms in my house that I really like take pictures in because the lighting is really good. I’m not a model as you can tell and I really like to focus on the clothes and not me. I often tell my husband that he should just take a picture of the clothes, my face doesn’t need to be in that. He continually tells me know we are not going to do that.
4. When it comes to backdrops for your photos what do you consider? Do you scout locations or shoot the same spot daily?
My backdrop is my backyard if I am outside and my home if I’m inside. I am still feeling awkward about taking pictures on off-site locations. Maybe one day I will get the nerve, but not at this point.
I don’t like looking into the camera, I guess it’s a self esteem thing that I am dealing with. I am not twenty anymore so sometimes I feel quite intimidated and awkward.
5. If you could splurge and get one new piece of equipment what would you be buying?
A MacPro 15 inch Computer
I use Mac’s and PC’s but I am going for the Mac.

Love, Love, Love the black full length coat with white embroidery beautiful picture.
Natasha,
I have followed your blog for a while now. Good to see your blog on FBFF. Happy New Year to you too!
I got that coat for an awesome deal, thank you!
I really like the photo of you all bundled up outside with that great fur hat on and that fantastic black coat! It looks so warm!
I’m doing better at remembering to look at the camera, but I still always have to remind myself to smile! It’s hard when I’m smiling at a camera on a tripod and not a person, though! You look great in your photos, and so do your clothes!
Ps. Yes, Picasa is great! Love it!
Vanessa,
Very kind and sweet of you to say those words.
I’m working on looking in the camera more too.
Yep, Picasa rocks!
From reading this post it seems for Mac your the person right person to talk to, maybe you can help a Mac rookie out lol.
If you have any questions I can try to answer them for you.
I like that couch! You use a lot of technology for your blog. It is actually very impressive!
I love how you say there is no outfit photo process, just fun. That’s what it should be about. Good for you. – Katy
Thank Katy, when it comes down to it this has to be fun. Loads of fun!
Loved reading your answers here! When I first started blogging I used to blur my face, but loads of readers told me it was disconcerting, so I just got over it and started posting my face. That meant I had to get better with make-up, haha 😛
Thanks Leia,
Glad you show your face on your blog now so everyone can see your pretty face.
