We often hear about what’s hot and what’s fabulous right now but it seems that a lot of the items that was in last year is still going strong this year. Classics still out way trendy in my book. Invest in items that will last for years and can be a work horse in your wardrobe.
1. Faux Fur

2. Cape
Capes are always in style and great for fall especially when it’s not cold enough for a coat.

Scarves were working in the summer and will continue to do so in the fall and winter.

4. Leather
The leather jacket is really on fire this year in print and color. I love the jacket below because the tailoring does a great job of defining the waist area.

5. Blouses
Blouses are such a work horse because you can wear them under jackets, vest or cape or alone as shown below.
6. Wide leg trouser jeans
If you have full hips a wide leg trouser is for you. Wide leg trousers make your legs look longer and makes your shape look balanced if you happen to have curvier hips and small in the bust.

7. Dresses
From a dress to a maxi dress its a pretty look for fall and winter.

8.Tights
I love tights because they excite a regular outfit.

Yes, I agree. It’s nice to work in the colors of Spring/Summer. A summer maxi can be worked into fall by adding a blazer and maybe boots if it’s cool enough.

Our lists are so similar! Thanks for stopping by the other day and commenting on my post. I like how you styled your cape and I am loving the Naya boot! When I wear my cape I just throw it on without thinking about what I’m wearing, but I am uberconscious of where I will be wearing it. It seems a little dressy for just running errands.
I was pretty amazed how similar our list were. Great minds think alike. I wear my cape to work, church and to the mall. I will see how my cape looks if I wear it doing errands. I think it would work. My cape I think could go dressy or casual.
I absolutely love all these trends. I think my favorites are probably capes and boots. I just can’t get enough!
