I wanted to send out congratulations to my husband who won an award at church for 2009 Helps Ministry Volunteer of the Year. He works hard and he deserved it. I am so proud of him. I thank God for my husband, he is diligent and a determined person who loves the Lord and I admire him for that.
Thanksgiving Day was really nice. My husband and I celebrated yesterday over his sister’s house in Rolla and it was great. It’s wonderful to see family members whom I have only been able to connect with through Facebook. My family is very very small and do not have get togethers so it’s nice to have my hubby’s family for those special moments like yesterday.
After we ate we took a family walk around J’s sisters neighborhood and it was cold but sunny. That’s the first time we did that and it felt really good.
God commands us to love one another because when it comes down to it that’s what really matters. We have to examine ourselves to see if we are really walking in love.
