Day 15 30 for 30

This was a great day, I know it looks a little dreary but it still was a great day.  Why you ask?  Everyday is a great day when you have God on your side,  your health and the love of your family and friends. This dress was perfect because it was a warm day so it worked so well. I believe in the coming weeks I can style this dress where it will take on a completely different appearance.  Will see.

November came so fast and already this week is Thanksgiving.  Bring out the cornish hens, homemade macaroni (not the boxed), and the pecan and apple pie.  Yummy!

Well that all sounds good but that’s not the true meaning of Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving really is everyday because everyday we should be thankful.  I understand now when my mother would say be thankful you have your health and a roof over your head.  It’s so much to be thankful for? Why are you thankful?

I digress, the tip for the day with this dress is keep the jewelry to a minimum because the print on the dress knocks em out for the count.  The next time I wear this dress I will mix it up with my Black Clarks, so many options.

Day 14 30 for 30

I’m a little bit country and a little bit rock n’ roll!

That’s how I feel when I put this outfit together.  I don’t meant to toot my own horn but I love the color, heck I love color.  Fall is bursting with color and we should take hold of it.  Experiment with color  because it can make an outfit pop whether it’s a scarf, tights, headband or add color in a skirt  or top.  The sky is limit.

Today was a odd day weather  wise the high was 69 degrees and very windy so I have to dress according to the day because it may be 34 tomorrow.

This is a good outfit for me to do stuff at home, go to work or if I needed to go out and run some errands.  On the weekends I kick back and take it easy, I call it casual elegance.  Casual Elegance is looking good even though you are feeling oh so comfortable. I will keep saying that you don’t have to wear crocs or a sweat suit to be comfortable.

I often hear people say that it doesn’t matter what you wear it’s not that important.  I will yell a resounding yes it is important because it’s a first impression and looking good makes you feel more confident and secure about yourself.  I hold my head up high and shoulders back to exude confidence.

I know I’m going on about this but all it takes is a little effort and that can make you feel so good.

This outfit was edgy to me because I put together two contrasting patterns but they worked.  With patterns you have to test it out to see how it will look and I ran with this one.  The accessories made this dress look completely different then how it looked in the store when I bought it.  This is awesome to me because you can make any piece look brand new.

I had a meeting tonight at church but wanted to make sure I posted these for everyone.  I am loving how I can make an awesome outfit even cuter with patterned tights.  Tights really can kick an outfit up a notch. It’s cold hear in my neck of the woods so I am glad I picked some sweaters for my 30 for 30 remix.

I thought that I would be screaming for my other clothes, but it’s going good.

Day 10 30 for 30

Day 10 30 for 30

This was a day where the weather wasn’t cold but it was cool.  It was cloudy earlier and at lunch it was bright and sunny.  I wanted to wear some different pants with this outfit but stuck with these, it’s working for me. It’s simple but does the job of being a good work outfit.

Day 10 (30 for 30 )

I’m feeling good about the 30 for 30 pieces that I picked so full steam ahead.
