My hubby and I went outside last Thursday around midnight while the snow was falling and we started snapping away with our camera. This picture is of a church that is on the opposite corner of where we live. Couldn’t resist taking a photo. It was so quiet and peaceful that night as the snow was steadily coming down. We have not had snow like that in a long time.

The weather today is raining sleet wintry mix. I am continuously saying no sleet and no ice is coming this way. I like snow, sleet and ice I don’t like.

Freshly fallen snow is so peaceful and beautiful at the same time. I love when the snow flurries gently touches my face and disappears in an instant.
This year’s winter weather in Missouri has been reminiscent of what winters used to be like when I was a little girl. It actually snowed here last week. That snow was almost gone before it was predicted for it to return this evening. It’s amazing how there is no evidence of snow early in the evening. Once I settled in for the night, ate dinner and happen to look out the window a winter wonderland appeared.

Freshly fallen snow at night looks like dancing diamonds. That’s the jewelry lover side of me kicking in. Oh my!

This picture above was taken after the snowfall last week in Forest Park next to the golf course.
Snow reminds me of when I was a child and loved to play in it with my doggies. I guess even though I am an adult I feel like a child because when the snow falls I still love running around in it with my doggies. Some things never change.

Today we had some beautiful snow and it’s very cold in the Show Me State. It snowed fine white glitter all night long into the morning. We had about 3 to 4 inches and the temperature is 15 Fahrenheit.
Putting on another blanket tonight because this will be a cold week.
My hubby couldn’t resist taking some pictures of the doggies in our backyard.

Gio and Vinny

On our way to work my hubby saw some cute ducks not feeling the least bit cold in the park.

It has been really cold the past two days as I am writing this it is 8 degrees in my neck of the woods.
I am loving the hat I am wearing it’s cool and so warm. Yes you can be warm and cozy and look chic at the same time. This hat is from a company by the name of Cumberland and they have been around since 1917 so they know a thing or two about hats and outerwear.
I had to go outside for a bit to enjoy the snow with my hubby and my doggies.
Stay warm out there because it’s been oh so cold.

I love the colors in this Lantana plant because it looks so Indian Summer. This plant lasts the whole summer until frost.
