Vince Camuto Shoe Booties: Top Three Fall Must Haves

No pictures please! What!

I am loving the weekly mini series on what I love for fall and winter. What is genius is that these pieces of clothing that I am wearing that are “on trend now.” I have had for more than two years so it’s so good to buy pieces of clothing that can be workhorses in your wardrobe and can be worn for more than one season. One fall must have is a dress with bold prints.

Dress without the jacket

JT’s Fall Must Haves

This weekend was simply beautiful, so bright, sunny and cool. My favorite time of the year is fall and winter. I spent a lot of time outside and it’s been so nice.

Print Dress: Chadwick’s, Purse: Dooney and Bourke, Boot Shoes: Vince Camuto

I bought this dress and  number two must have the faux leather jacket about three years ago; but bright bold reds and grays are so hot right now. Pairing it with number three the gray tights and the Vince Camuto boot shootie is oh-so-chic. My sunglasses are a vintage Jackie O inspiration.

On location in my backyard. Love it!

These Vince Camuto shoes not only have an edge to them and the leather is so comfortable. I walked in them for hours and they were comfortable. The comfort level is that the shoe bootie is has a wedge heel. Wedge heels give more comfort. These shoes are so pretty it was love at first sight when I saw them. The gray tights off sets the whole outfit.

One of my favorite jewelry pieces is cameos. Something about cameos is so vintage and retro.

Loving the Browns

Hi Elegant and Graceful Readers

I worked all day and had a conference at church this evening, so the day has been full. I am writing this post late this evening because I have a full day tomorrow at work and the last day of the conference at church. My next post will be later in the week. The conference at church is very empowering and my mind is absorbing a lot of information.

Last Friday was the first day of Autumn and finally there is a cool breeze in the air after a long and very hot summer.  Bright colors of autumn fill the color palette. I am loving the greens and browns.

Fancy for Toile

I am fancying some toile today because it just reminds me of a summer breeze.

I love wearing toile and using toile in my home decor. It’s so versatile and vintage.

I have had this toile dress for almost five years and I bought it from Chadwicks.com on sale for less than $12.00. My sheer white blouse is vintage; this was my mother’s blouse. This is the first time I have worn this blouse with this dress and the first time I have worn the dress this summer. This dress was hid in my closet. So what is old is new again. I was thinking, “I have this toile dress in my closet; but I don’t see it. Wait, Wait! There it is.” Do you have items in your closet that you can’t find because they may be tightly pressed against another outfit?

Charm by Nolan Miller and Necklace was a gift

I wear this charm and necklace with so many different outfits and I always get so many compliments on it. The charm is from Nolan Miller and I bought help raise money for cancer research.
My bracelet is a southwestern piece with many different natural stones from turquoise to tigers eye.

If you noticed I have pink and turquoise nail polish. I tried something a little different and painted one nail on each hand a different color than the rest. The pink nail polish is from ProStrong and the turquoise nail polish is called Empire from Tarina Tarantino.

I love to layer bracelets with my watch. I say load them up. The more the merrier. I am all about adding a pop of color.
That is where my pink LifeStride sandals come in, a pop of color takes your outfit to another level. Flats can be cool and chic.

Putting on the Ritz!

Hi Bubbling and Elegant Readers!

I have been going non-stop and I needed a break.  A lot has been on my plate these past two weeks so it’s so nice to sit back and relax. I had tried to post earlier in the week but just couldn’t do it because I needed to get some sleep.

I wanted to share some pics from our Church Anniversary, it was a lovely evening full of great fellowship, music and good food.

Everyone looked so gorgeous all dressed up and decked out.

In the Lobby at the Ritz

I said hi to a really good friend that I have known since I was in grade school. She is like a second mother to me, wonderful woman.

The event was filled with dancing.

The food was delish, lobster ravioli was my hubby’s and my favorite.

The food was great!

My earrings by Amirita Singh are from the QVC Super Saturday event to help in ovarian cancer research and my necklace is made of Italian lire on a silver chain. The cuff, Nolan Miller ring, cameo bracelet and watch was great with the dress. It just worked very well.

The sounds of the choir (not pictured) set the tone for the event. Jesse and his band (pictured below) singing and playing while we were enjoying dinner was so snapping fingers groovy.  Jesse and his band did excellent renditions of music by Al Green, Marvin Gaye and Etta James to name a few.  They were on fire that night.

Everyone had an awesome time.

We also had the anointed Helen Baylor at the anniversary singing some of her greatest hits; every song she sings is so powerful.

The evening was wonderful. After the anniversary gala was over my hubby and I took pictures.

My hubby and I

Okay time for me to take a load off after a beautiful evening.

Walking on Sunshine

It’s been really a full month and August has just begun. I think that we will finally get a break from the intense heat.

I have been wearing mainly skirts and dresses. I am loving the yellow because it just gives a soft glow to the face. Bright color can warm your complexion and make you look youthful and full of energy.

If you mainly wear dark colors try a little yellow. Whether it’s a blouse or a scarf headband and see if it brings a smile to your face. Color gives a big boost to your entire persona.

Take a chance and brighten your wardrobe with a piece of color.

Doesn’t color make you feel like walking on sunshine? I am humming the song now, I’m walking on sunshine yeah and don’t it feel good!

I had to give a fabulous mention to my Circa Joan and David shoes in the pic below.
