It took me some time to put these pictures up because I was not the weight I would have like to have been. I was dealing with some medical challenges at the time and the medication made me bigger at a time when I wanted to be in the best shape. People told me I looked great; but I did not think so. I so loved my wedding day; but I was not happy with the way I looked. Well Praise the Lord, I am healthier now and I lost over 50 pounds. I have a lot to be thankful for because I married my best friend and we can renew our wedding vows next year and on our 15th wedding anniversary. So here are the pictures.

Jay and I so happy we are officially married.

Happy that I am married to my best friend.

We love Italian food so having the reception at an Italian Restaurant hall was perfect.

My daddy stepped on my train by accident so I am holding it. Jay caught off guard in mid take of picture.

My nails were mega long, I can’t have them that long when I am practicing piano.

My Daddy is with the Lord now so this is even more of a special picture to me. My mother-in-law is so sweet and kind. It is a pleasure to be a part of the family.

Attention all label-loving brides! Interflora has joined together with one of the most iconic names in the fashion industry to launch a collection of designer wedding flowers.
The flower experts have teamed up with iconic fashion designer Vera Wang to offer an exquisite collection of bridal flowers and arrangements.

Best known for her nonchalant approach to luxury and style, Vera Wang has spent a lifetime at the forefront of fashion. Her earliest inspiration was from her mother and their annual trips to the Paris couture shows. Vera Wang went on to become the youngest ever Vogue fashion editor at the age of 23. The opportunity allowed her to collaborate with the most accomplished personalities in the world of fashion and launch her own designer label. From then on she became the wedding dress designer of choice for Hollywood’s elite.
And now, with this new collaboration with Interflora, Vera Wang introduces her range of wedding flowers to the UK market, with a stunning collection of floral arrangements designed specifically with the British bride in mind. Launching on 1st October the Vera Wang Wedding Collection will enable brides everywhere to own a piece of Vera Wang couture on their special day.
A spokesperson for Interflora said: “We are tremendously excited about the launch. Interflora florists can offer the level of expertise required to deliver the range to the high standard expected by Vera Wang and we believe that the Collection will be extremely popular with brides looking to put floral couture at the heart of their special day.”

I celebrated with my hubby on his birthday today and he we had a great time. My hubby loves the outdoors so we hiked at the August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area and we just enjoyed the beautiful weather today. Jay was beaming with excitement.

I could not ask for a better man of God in my life. He is the so special and I am so thankful to God for him in my life. He listens to me when I need to talk and is there for me when I need him. This may sound mushy but that is what we do and that is who I am with my hubby. Communication between us is so important and that is why I shout from the rooftops, Happy Birthday Jay. We are celebrating the whole month! September is very important because our wedding anniversary and Jay’s birthday are both during this time of the year.

In the evening we went to Red lobster and had a pretty healthy meal, but had to have some dessert on Jay’s birthday. We really watch what we eat so this was a real treat.
Happy Birthday Jay!
Love you!

I was recently contacted by a representative from J.Jill who wanted to know if I would like to try a pair of its “Tried and True boot-cut” jeans. I said sure because jeans can be a hard fit. Pants can gap in the waist and I always have to tailor them to fit. Well, when I received these jeans in the mail, the first thing I wanted to do was feel the denim material. It is so soft and comfortable. I had not heard of this jean by J.Jill before; but I can see why it was such a favorite by customers.
Not only are the jeans comfortable; but they are also very stylish. This is no mom jean here.

I was really impressed with how they fit and how they did not gap or hug in the areas that I do not want them to. I really like the clean lines of the jean. Also, I like the stretch and recovery in the jeans, it’s not to much cotton lycra spandex. I really like the elongation of the leg that a boot-cut jean gives me.

Thank you J.Jill for giving me the opportunity to have a pair of these great “Tried and True boot-cut” jeans.

It is so wonderful to receive a great pair of jeans.

I wasn’t asked by J.Jill to do this review, I wanted to write this post because the jeans they sent me fit so well.

My hubby saw this squirrel run across the yard and into our elm tree and lay down on the branch to relax from such a hot day.
