Smiling is one of life’s pleasures. If you’re feeling down, a smile can lift your mood. If you’re already happy, it can elevate you. Not to mention that it shows people your shining personality! We all warm more to someone when they’re smiling. Of course, some people don’t have smiley dispositions, and that’s fine. If you want to smile, but don’t, there may be an underlying problem. That’s right – we’re talking teeth! We all want to feel great about our appearance. But, many factors can stop us achieving that goal. Insecurity about our teeth is one of them. So, how can you overcome the fear and start smiling again?

RECOGNIZE THE PROBLEM
When there’s something we don’t like about our bodies, we can spend a lot of time avoiding it. But, if you don’t recognize what is you don’t like about your teeth, you won’t know how to fix them. When you’re home alone, stand in front of a mirror and give yourself a grin. Look carefully at your teeth. This may seem strange if you’ve never done it, but it’s important. Acknowledge your initial reaction. How do you feel about what you see? What is it that most puts you off about your teeth? Doing this also has the benefit of getting you used to seeing your teeth. With a bit of luck, you’ll realize they aren’t so bad after all. If you still can’t stand the sight of them, it’s time to take action.

DON’T BREAK THE BANK
Dental work isn’t cheap. Even simple work can set you back a fair bit. That’s why it’s important you don’t jump into anything. Yes, you need to book an appointment with a dentist, like Dentist Oshawa. But, don’t follow what they suggest straight out. Listen to what they have to say, then talk about payment plans. It’s also worth looking into individual dental plans. These could make a huge difference. If none of this appeals, you could discuss pacing the work. Bear in mind, though, that it could be a while before you have a winning smile that way.
LOSE THE SHAME
Whether you have work done straight away or not, it’s time to lose the shame you feel about your gnashers. If you’re having work incrementally, practice smiling anyway. You can rest easy that your teeth will be the way you want them soon. But, there’s no time like the present for perfecting your smile. Even if you’ve had all necessary work, you may find it hard to smile! Practice smiling in the mirror. Grow used to your teeth. Acknowledge, too, that no one will be as hard on your teeth as you!

TACKLE DENTAL HYGIENE
All that work will go to waste if you don’t stay on top of your dental hygiene. Get yourself a high-quality toothbrush, and make sure you brush at least twice a day. Invest, too, in flossing equipment. Food caught between teeth often causes problems! Keeping on top of things will avoid staining and further problems!

Hello Lovely People,
Hope your day has been an awesome one!
February has come to end and the weather has been crazy to say the least. Temperatures have peaked out in the 70s in the middle of winter. Not just a day here and there. Most of the month has been abnormally above normal with regular high temperatures in the 60s and 70s. With temperatures like this, it leads to finds like this.

Yes, the daffodils are blooming the backyard. These springtime flowers are common in late March and early April, about the time of Easter Sunday. But the warm weather has caused a premature blooming season, even before the Easter (and Lenten) season even has begun. Hopefully this is not a sign of how spring and summer will be. I, for one, would like to see some snow. Our family, the doggies included, enjoy playing out in the snow, making snowmen and throwing snowballs. It is our hope that we will get at least one good snow fall before Spring actually arrives.

Hello Wonderful people!
It is my prayer that you had a wonderful and prosperous week. The temperatures hovered around 70 degrees most of week. We actually have our daffodils blooming in the backyard, and it is only February. I have to remind myself that it is technically still winter and the weather can quickly change and we could still see snow before Spring actually arrives.
Even during the Winter months, it is important that you keep your fitness goals on your mind. One of the easiest ways to make sure that you don’t loose sight of the goals is with a personal fitness tracking device. These devices have surged in popularity in the last couple of years, as more options have come on the market at various price points. Thanks to our partnership with Verizon Wireless, we demoed one of Samsung’s fitness tracker — the Gear Fit2. We have reviewed other devices in the past, but this was our first time trying a Samsung device. After using the Gear Fit2 for thirty days, I am convinced that it’s one of the best devices on the market and it competes with the other more well-known companies. Here are four reasons why I would recommend this device.

The Samsung Gear Fit2 contours to the shape of the wrist for a comfortable fit.
#1 ) The Samsung GearFit2 fits better and is more comfortable than the other devices that I have used in the past. As you can see in the photo above, the device has a curved face, allowing it to contour the shape of your wrist. It does not sit on top of the wrist, it curves around the wrist. Since you will be wearing this device almost all the time, you do not want it to feel like uncomfortable.

#2) The device comes in two sizes, with detachable bands that can be changed out with different colors, designs and fabrics. You can pick any color in the spectrum and have it in leather, stainless steel or plastic. If you want the band to coordinate with your outfit, you are sure to find the right one. Another benefit of interchangeable bands is that the technology of the device is kept in the face itself, so if a band were to get torn or ripped, you do not have purchase an entirely new device.
#3) The Super AMOLED screen, measuring at 1.5 inches, is the largest that I have seen on any fitness tracker. Using the same technology as smart phones, you can navigate the multi-colored screen with the touch of a finger. The screen moves up and down to reveal more detailed information. You can be also navigate to the left or right for new categories of information. The additional screens track your total number of steps for the day, your heartbeat, calorie and water intake.
#4) With the large and navigable screen, you can see detailed fitness logs for the current day and previous days. Not only can you see the number of steps for today, but also the number of steps for the previous two weeks. This is the first fitness tracker that I have used where I was not dependent on my smart phone to provide those details.
#5) The device also syncs with your smart phone to provide notifications of incoming phone calls, text messages, Facebook and other apps. Many times I do not have my phone close at hand, so it great to do know that I have call coming in and need to get my phone.
With any fitness tracker, you will need to regularly charge its battery. I found that the Samsung Gear Fit2 needed a charge every three days, which is more often than most devices. Despite having to keep the charger close at hand, I would recommend it to anyone who wants purchase their first tracking device, or for someone who wants to upgrade their current device with one that has more features. The device retails for $179.99; but is currently priced at $99.99 on Verizon’s website.

Hi Beautiful People,
This winter season has been all over the place and mostly mild. I am still believing we will get snow even though it’s going to be in the 60s and 70s the rest of the week until last Thursday.
I decided to wear my military style jacket because it is unique and has personality all its own. The military style jacket is not a trend but a classic. I finally was able to find a white ruffled blouse to give my style a feminine feel. I wore my Anne Klein black and white striped pants; but any color of pants would be fabulous. This look is totally kicking back at a London concert listen to my Wham records or getting in front of a microphone singing Little Red Corvette. My hat came from a Chinese Beauty supply store and cost almost nothing; but I get so many compliments on it.

Military style jacket — not a trend a complete classic
I purchased this military jacket about five years ago and it still looks as good the day it came in the mail. The pink Dooney and Bourke bag added color and the was a great deal.
Jewelry
My cross and necklace were gifts.
Fashion is about being unique and having your own style. Your beauty and confidence cannot be put in a box of trends and items that you have to purchase because a celebrity wore it first. Dare to not compare yourself with anyone. You are in your own league, so run your race.

What is Snowmobiling?
Snowmobiling started out not as a fun sport, but as a means of transportation in places with heavy snowfall. However, people quickly realized how fun and exciting snowmobiles were. This, in combination to the natural softness and ease of snow, made for an adrenaline-pumping activity that could be enjoyed by people of all ages. Soon, snowmobiling became popular.
Confirming the popularity of the sport, today there are over 3,000 snowmobile clubs thriving in North America. Amazingly versatile, snowmobiling can be done at various levels of skill that range from simple trail touring to high-performance extreme motor sports. Because each member can decide what approach to take depending on their skill and confidence levels, snowmobiling is a perfect activity for everyone in the family to enjoy.
Types of Snowmobiles for the Family
There are many different types of snowmobiles that are suited for different needs. While some of them have been built for heavy riding, competition and extreme sports, there are others that can appeal to different members of a family.
Entry-level Snowmobiles: For amateurs and beginners, there are entry-level snowmobiles, often referred to as trail models. Easy to ride, light and relatively inexpensive, these models range from 60-70 horsepower, making them perfect for casual snowmobiling, sight-seeing and calm rides around smooth trailed areas.
Performance Snowmobiles: These feature slightly higher horsepower engines, which allows them to go off-trail – to a certain extent. They have a bigger engine and more powerful suspension and shock absorbing systems, making them heavier but more powerful and resistant.
Touring Snowmobiles: With its main feature being their capability to be ridden by two individuals, touring snowmobiles are an attractive option for families, particularly if they have small children. Because of their larger size and superior power, they are heavier than both entry-level and performance snowmobiles. However, they are not recommended for difficult off-trail riding.

The Do’s and Don’ts of Snowmobiling
Do
- Contact state and provincial snowmobile associations and clubs to obtain information regarding the best locations to practice the sport. This should depend somewhat on the season, but there are places in the entire North-American Snowbelt area, making it easy to find a spot no matter the time of the year.
- Get the right type of snowmobile gear. This includes bibs, jackets, gloves, boots and helmets.
- Before riding, make sure the snowmobiles you and your family are using have been thoroughly checked by a professional.
Don’t
- If you are a beginner, do not stray from the path. Not knowing how to ride the snowmobile in difficult terrain can cause malfunctions and accidents.
- Don’t go riding before having checked climate and terrain conditions with local experts. As you may have imagined, snowfall needs to have a certain level in order for snowmobiles to work properly on it.
- Finally, don’t forget to have fun with your family!
