I think that military jackets are always on trend and I love to wear them. I first wore this jacket when I was celebrating with my hubby 10 years at a staff awards dinner in 2006. So I have had this jacket for almost six years. Wow, that’s so amazing to me. I bought this jacket from Newport News for a great bargain and it has served me well.

I wore this jacket on Sunday and it felt different, it felt even more comfortable because I have been working out and eating healthier. It’s amazing what gradual changes can do. The jacket is military inspired; but it has wonderful feminine details on the sleeves and bottom edges with the ruffle details.

And I really appreciate the attention to detail of the bead work on the mandarin collar. It’s simply beautiful. Vinny is in motion right behind me.

This picture is a close up of the sleeve and bottom hem ruffle trim. The buttons are a brass tone so it works with any jewelry I have. I really don’t need much because the jacket has the jewelry already on it.
JT Loving the ruffles
And I have to talk about the fabric. Thin pin wale corduroy is so much more comfortable than the thick stuff. The print is so pretty with all the vibrant color in the flowers. The jacket is so versatile because it has so much to offer in design and detail.

Doggies have to be in on the fun. My bag is from Dooney and Bourke, I can get a lot in this bag. My necklace was a gift and my heart pendant is from Nolan Miller.
My hubby and I love Superbowl Snacks because we always try to cut the fat to make them healthy. I must confess I am not a hardcore football fan but my hubby and I love to cook. We may tune in for the half-time show.
My hubby makes a mean bagel pizza that is healthy and so good. Sometimes he will include Chicken sausage and sometimes it will be completely veggie. Both ways are delicious.
